The 60th Presidential Cycling Tour of Türkiye will host 23 teams on its historic route.

From 3 continents and 13 countries, 161 riders from 23 teams including 3 WorldTeams, 13 ProTeams, and 7 Continental Teams, with 3 Continental Teams representing Türkiye will compete from the Mediterranean to the Aegean over 8 days and 8 stages between April 27 and May 4, covering 1,153 km on Türkiye’s stunning roads. The whole world will witness the thrilling battle of the pedals, tactical and strategic plays, team spirit, and an unwavering passion for cycling.

The Turkish Cycling Federation is preparing to stage a historic race in the 60th edition of the Presidential Tour of Türkiye one of Türkiye’s most prestigious international sporting events. Included in the calendar of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) Europe Tour, the 60th Presidential Tour of Türkiye is the only race in Türkiye under the “ProSeries” category. It will start in Antalya on Sunday, April 27, and conclude in İzmir on Sunday, May 4.

First organized in 1963 as the Marmara Tour and gaining international status under the patronage of the Presidency in 1965, the Presidential Tour of Türkiye has played a vital role in the development of Turkish cycling. This 60th edition will welcome 23 teams, 3 WorldTeams, 13 ProTeams, and 7 Continental Teams from 13 countries, featuring 161 cyclists. Among the participating teams are experienced squads that have been an integral part of this grand event for many years.

This international spectacle, comprising 8 stages over 8 days, reaches an audience in 190 countries across 5 continents, broadcast live in 13 languages to 610 million households. In 2025, the race will feature teams from the United States, Germany, Belgium, China, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Norway, Poland, and Türkiye including both world-renowned cycling stars and rising young talents.

The Netherlands-based, young and dynamic continental team Tietema Rockets will be racing under a French license in 2025. Founded in 2023 by Dutch cyclist Bas Tietema, Tietema Rockets produces fun and energetic cycling content through the popular YouTube and social media channel “Tour de Tietema.” With its fun and sincere social media presence, the team aims to bring a fresh perspective to the cycling world.
