THE 56TH PRESIDENTIAL CYCLING TOUR OF TURKEY PROMOTES ITS NEW SLOGAN

NOTICE BICYCLES ON TRAFFIC

The symbolic slogan of the year has taken on the podium in the 56th Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey by Salcano Sakarya team. The slogan, “notice bicycles on traffic”, attracted a great deal of attention. 

THE FOREING MEDIA HAS SHOWN INTEREST

Salcano Sakarya Cycling Team, taking on podium to sign under the traditional signing board to kick-off the third Beyşehir – Alanya stage of the race, unfurled the banner with the slogan, “Notice Bicycles on Traffic”. Domestic and foreign press located on the starting line of the race took pictures and videos of the moment to share them on social media. These posts quickly went viral. 

KUCUKBAKIRCI SAID, “NO VIOLENCE IN CYCLING” 

The President of the Cycling Federation Erol Kucukbakirci championed this move of Salcano Sakarya Cycling team on behalf of the federation and said, “we build cycling tracks, and the vehicles are parked on them. Motorcycle couriers make speed in those tracks and pose hazard. We cannot remain silent to this situation. We try to raise awareness on this issue in all occasions. We are always against violence in cycling. Our main objective is to stop death of cyclists on traffic.”
